This June Pay Weekend, we’re throwing it back to the glory days of Blur vs. Oasis, parkas, pints, and pure anthems with the Wonderwall Weekender – the ultimate Britpop blowout.
With Oasis making their epic comeback and Glastonbury lighting up the weekend, it’s the perfect time for a proper throwback party at your local. Expect live music, top tunes, and enough nostalgia to make your Doc Martens tap on their own.

" MIND AID FUNDRAISER " a fundraising Weekend to raise much needed funds for Thurrock/Brentwood & Basildon Mind. (Please Share) We will all know someone, family, a friend, a work colleague, or someone in our local community who has struggled or is struggling with their Mental Health, and without charities such as mind to support people we would be nowhere. We will be holding a fundraising weekend in August to help support this cause. Saturday 23rd August - Sponsored Walk - From Basildon - Thurrock/ Brentwood Mind in Grays (Rougly 12 miles) CHALLENGE - Why not do this walk for a friend/ family member who is struggling or who has struggled or do the walk with them. Or challenge somebody to take part in this walk and join in the fight to raise funds and Mental Health Awareness ( For anyone interested in taking Part please get in touch) Sunday 24th August - Mind Aid - Music Event, at the Ship in Little Thurrock from 6pm, where Music Artists - Singer, bands, Djs, Choirs, buskers, community performers, have agreed to donate their time ro perform to help in this fundraising effort. (Its not too late For anyone wishing to take part and perform please make contact with Jamie Andalucia-Brown )

So much going on in June. Dj's, Singers, Psychic night, quiz night, and our fortnightly Bingo. Our kitchen is open 12o'clock until 9pm seven days a week, with lots of great offers for everyone.
